@ulli: river was hired for the toolserver - how would an account on the German Wikipedia help with that job? Does that mean he should also have an account for every other language? There are toolserver users from a great many wiki communities...

I think the best place for contact info is the toolserver wiki.

dear Kate,
in case germans would like to contact you: wouldn't it be possible to have at least an account on de_wiki? of course it's not necessary to communicate in german ;) ... but for the responsible person on behalf of de_wiki you should not seem to be so far away...
don't take me wrong,
ulli p.

Marcus,

I've been a Wikipedia editor since 2004 (as User:Kate on enwiki), and a volunteer Wikimedia sysadmin and MediaWiki committer since 2005. I've also been involved with the Toolserver, as the primary admin, since we started the project.

I also wrote the original edit counter, the original "Six Degrees of Wikipedia" tool, the first Lucene search engine for MediaWiki, and in my spare time, I enjoy playing traditional English fiddle music and long walks on the beach.
